Adding Employee Instructions

The standing recipe. Same five steps for every new employee. Nothing ever gets rebuilt.

Step 1 — Add him in the portal

You are already here. Go to Employees → + Add Employee.

Fill in his name and his Google sign-in email. Set status to Active. His app switches start with everything ON — leave them, or trim them right there. Save employee.

Step 2 — Put his email on the door (Zero Trust)

Open: one.dash.cloudflare.com

Access controls → Applications → open the app named portal → Policies → open the Employees policy → add his email as another Email value (selector: Email — never Email domain) → Save policy.

Then scroll down and tap the blue Save for the application itself.

⚠️ BOTH saves, every time. The policy save alone does nothing — skipping the application save is the mistake that bounced the test login on Oct 31, 2026.

Step 3 — Add him as a Google test user

Open: Google Cloud — Audience page

Scroll to Test users → Add users → type his same email → Save.

This step exists only while the Google app is in Testing. If the app is ever Published, skip Step 3 forever.

Step 4 — Email notifications: nothing to do

Task emails send automatically through Resend — the handymeisteroc.com domain was verified in Resend once, at setup. No per-employee verification, nothing for him to click.

His notifications start the moment his record exists and a task is assigned to him.

Step 5 — His first login

He opens portal.handymeisteroc.com → taps Google → signs in with the Google account from Step 1.

He lands on his Employees Portal with exactly the apps left on for him.

Adjusting his apps later

Employees → his name → Portal access — what he sees → flip the switches → Save access. You will see "Saved ✓". Takes effect on his next load. No rebuild, no new package.

The apps: Employees · Customers · Work Orders · Inbox · Tasks · Mileage Log · Employee Time Log · Work Schedules · Employee Remarks · Payrolls · Instructions / Guidelines · Required Tools · Routine Home Maintenance · Forms · Adding Employee Instructions · Live Scores · Receipt Generator · Live Chat · Company Expenses.

Removing a man

1. Employees → his name → set status Inactive (or delete the record).
2. Zero Trust → portal app → Employees policy → remove his email → Save policy → Save the application.
3. Google Cloud → Test users → remove his email.
